As I said before I am a LINDT CHOCOLATE R.S.V.P. Independent Consultant. I started my business in January 2012. I had been working for the LINDT & SPRUNGLI Factory Store here in Niagara Falls New York, and decided it was time to work FOR myself, but not BY myself.
So, you ask, what does a LINDT CHOCOLATE R.S.V.P. Independent Consultant do? I’m glad you asked… In a nutshell, or as I like to say, in a truffle shell, we consultants are the direct sales, network marketing arm of the L&S Chocolate company. We are independent contractors, not employees of the L&S company. We market ourselves to a variety of niches. Whether you, as a consultant decide to market to friends and family is up to you. I have decided against that idea, simply because I think I have a better way to market my business and give back to the local community at the same time.
My idea is to market to the non-profit organizations and charities beginning in the Western New York area. What plan to do is to partner with the NPO or charity to raise much-needed funds through LINDT CHOCOLATE R.S.V.P. parties held in the homes or offices of the NPO or charity. The NPO or Charity would promote our partnership through their newsletter or whatever means they use to communicate with their members and volunteers and encourage as many as possible to host parties in their homes. ANY bookings that I receive through a NPO or a charity will receive a 50/50 split of my commissions on every party.
For example: Let’s say there is a volunteer fire department that is looking to raise funds for some new equipment for their banquet hall. Through my partnership with the fire department, they reach out to their members and 20 members decide to host parties in their homes. At the end of the month, the total sales from those 20 parties is $10,000 or and average of $500 per party. My commissions on the $10,000 is 20%, which I split 50/50 with the fire department. On the 10th of he following month, after I receive my commissions, I send the fire department a check or money order for $1,000. All for hosting parties, learning about chocolate, tasting some of the BEST CHOCOLATE IN THE WORLD, and making purchases. I think that is a very fair deal. The expenses for the parties come out of my half of the expenses.
So, you’re asking yourself, what does the host/hostess get out of the parties?
1. They get an enjoyable evening with friends and family.
2. They get to raise money through the purchases made at the party for the charity or NPO they care about.
3. They get to learn about and taste some of the finest premium chocolate in the world, and share the experience with friends and family.
Oh, and did I mention that the host can receive FREE LINDT CHOCOLATE? Yes, the host/hostess receives a percentage of the sales in free or reduced product for hosting the party.
So, that deal just got a little sweeter, huh?
